SWATCH: L’oreal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche in Rose Melody, Coral Encore and Nude Ballet
Brand: L’oreal Paris USA
Collection: Extraordinaire by Colour Riche
Color: L to R- Rose Melody, Coral Encore and Nude Ballet
The packing on these lipstick-lipgloss hybrids (the only way I can really think of them) is very cute, sleek and gold! Reminds me a lot of the packing on YSL Makeup. The applicator is nice and sturdy, but if you are more into squeeze packaging for hygiene reasons this isn’t your cup of tea.
The one thing I didn’t like about this lipgloss is the smell. It has a very distinct smell that does subside over time but doesn’t really go away. Same with the taste, it definitely feels “chemically”. Setting aside those two points, for $7.99 you can’t go wrong. The lipgloss is smooth and silky, glides on effortlessly, and has decent color payoff (although the shades I bought were in the lighter side). Like most drugstore brands, don’t count on these lip-glosses to stay on more than 3 hours. If reapplying your lipgloss frequently doesn’t deter you from buying, this won’t be a make or break factor.
Overall, they are good quality for drugstore lip-glosses. They don’t dry my lips, they don’t irritate my skin even though they do have a faint smell that I can’t quite put my finger on.

*NOTE: Pardon the orange lighting for the No Flash light (my bathroom doesn’t have the most promising lighting).
