Is the Naked Foundation by Urban Decay a must have or a flop? Find out:

Hey guys, so I know this is long overdue, but here is my review on the Naked Foundation by Urban Decay.  This is my second bottle and I think I bought my first bottle early last year (correct me if I am wrong) right when it first dropped in the market.  After having put it through every test, I am confident in writing this review.

Just a quick note, just because a foundation works for one person it doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for you the same way.  As with any foundation the key to finding the perfect fit is to test it on your own skin and wear it for a few days.  Check for things like breakouts (obviously), dry patches, oiliness of skin throughout the day and for overall wear.

Now moving forward, Naked by Urban Decay is very liquid-y, it is quite runny and I don’t mind it. I know some girls prefer a more creamier texture.  It does have a slight chemical smell that doesn’t bother me as it doesn’t really linger.  I apply this foundation with either a really dense kabuki brush or my trusty Beauty Blender. Coverage is medium buildable (seeing as it is a more liquid formula you can actually use it rather lightly too which adds to the versatility of the foundation).

The color 5.0 is perfect for me. What I really love about the foundation apart from the perfect match is that it really dries to a beautiful, very skin-like finish, it also doesn’t feel heavy on the face, and it doesn’t look caked on.  Another thing I really love is that it doesn’t rub off on clothes and hands as much as other foundations do (like any foundation give this one a few minutes to set and sink into the face).

Dare I say, I love this foundation even more than my MUFE HD or my Estee Lauder Double Wear. This is definitely my holy grail foundation.  I am in love with it.  The consistency makes it so easy and fast to blend, you can build up or apply a light layer and your skin looks radiant and luminous.  This one is a winner!
