The Eyeshadow Palette I’m Absolutely Matte About: A Review of Tartelette Matte Eyeshadow Palette @tartecosmetics
I usually keep my eye looks simple. I like to think it’s not only a makeup staple of mine to keep things nice and easy but also compliments my style. But every now and again I see an eyeshadow palette I like and I just need to have!
The Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow palette is THAT palette! First of all the colors are beautiful, purples, plums, pinks and gorgeous nudes and browns. The palette isn’t overwhelming, the packaging is gorgeous and the eyeshadows are ALL matte (huge plus since I love me some matte eyeshadows).
These 12 shades are quite simply gorgeous, but how do they hold up?
Okay, the shadows are very pigmented, the formula is this velvet-y powder texture that makes this one of the easiest eyeshadows to blend. The color payoff is also super good (you don’t need a lot to achieve the desired effect). Overall this palette is a huge win! The palette runs for about $44 bucks on Sephora and on Tarte‘s website too!
The colors (courtesy of Sephora) are: Shadows in Free Spirit (cream), Force Of Nature (nude), Dreamer (warm brown), Multi-Tasker (chocolate), Caregiver (pale pink), Natural Beauty (mauve), Best Friend (mulberry), Bombshell (dark plum), Super Mom (ivory), Wanderer (light brown), Power Player (taupe), Fashionista (black).
Below are some shots and some swatches! Do any of you have this palette? Loving it as well? Let me know!
I didn’t mess with the image and tried getting the swatches under natural light to get the best color for you all! Such pretty colors!
