The Only Contour Palette You’ll Need This Spring From NYX Cosmetics
I know it’s taken me a while to get this review out but life is crazy! However, here I am and here it is. So let me backtrack a bit.
I bought the NYX Highlight and Contour Pro palette about a month ago at Ulta. It retails for about $25 an affordable alternative to the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette (which runs for about $40 at Sephora or Macy’s).
The palette comes with 8 colors that range from a banana (yellow) color to a cool brown, a warm brown and a brown with some sheen as well as some highlight options (opaque and with shimmer for the ladies who want the glow). Another cool thing about the palette is that
you can buy refills once you hit pan on your most used shades! So there are plenty of similarities to the Anastasia palette.
As far as color payoff, these colors are very pigmented and a little goes a long way! My face is perfectly made up through the day so the wear on these is good too! The powders easily transfer onto your brush so I’d suggest going in lightly with them because like I said a little goes a long way.
If you’re looking for a very good palette with decent color options and a good formula but don’t want to dish out $40 bucks on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit I’d say to stop by your nearest Ulta and grab the NYX Pro Palette (you can also buy the palette on NYX Cosmetics website).
I bought it because I wanted to have a cheaper option I could use day-to-day and not be afraid to waste or run out of product. I’ve been using my NYX Pro Palette every single day (or at least on most days when I wear makeup). This one’s a another winner from NYX Cosmetics.
Here are the swatches to the colors in natural light:
And finally a look with the palette! Hope you ladies enjoy. Also let me know below whether or not you bought this palette and your experience with it!
